Get ready and start our sightseeing. Visit the Chen Clan Academy. It was built by 72 Chen clans for their juniors’ accommodation and preparation for the imperial examinations in 1894 in Qing Dynasty. Now it has been changed into Guangdong Folk Art Museum. Move on to the Lizhiwan Creek, a important historical area located in the heart of Xiguan and adjacent to the Pearl River. It is home to the former sites of many famous people and gardens. Back to hotel after the tour.

Day 2 Guangzhou (Breakfast, Lunch)
A full day sightseeing today. Let’s first come to the Nanye King’s Tomb Museum, the oldest and largest Han Dynasty tomb, and also one of the 80 globally renowned tombs. It is highlighted by the jade-silk made garment. Head to the Six Banyan Tree Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple famous for the beautiful Flowery Pagoda inside. Transfe to Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou’s new CBD with business landmark buildings. Finally, visit the shopers’ paradise, the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street in adittion to the traditional local buildings there.

Guangzhou is a historical city. The Chen Clan Academy used to be the a place both for offering up sacrifices to ancestors and for their offspring likewise to study hard. It is now Guangdong Museum of Folk Arts and Crafts. Nanyue King’s Tomb Museum is the tomb site of the second king of Nanyue, Zhao Mo (r. 137 BC – 122 BC), housing many valuable funeral objects. Qingping Market is a famous traditional market in Guangzhou, and the first government apporved market for selling Chinese herbal medicines. Lizhiwan Creek, located in the historical Xiguan District of Guangzhou, was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Guangzhou.

Continue our cultural sightseeing in the city. Come to Chen Clan Academy, the largest, most beautifully decorated and best-preserved traditional architecture in Guangdong. It also serves as Guangdong Museum of Folk Arts and Crafts. Move on to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, an traditional style octagon-shaped building in Guangzhou. It was constructed  with funds raised by local and overseas Chinese people in memory of Sun Yat-sen who overthrew the last feudal dynasty and brought China into modern times. The Nanyu King’s Tomb Museum is a worthy visit to know more about the ancient Han dynasty. Finally, shop at the famous Beijing Road Pedestrian Street.

Day 3 Guangzhou (Breakfast, Lunch)
Start today’s tour at Yue Xiu Park, the largest park in downtown Guangzhou, a perfect combination of cultural relics and ecological tourism. Continue by the visit to the Zhujiang New Town with many outstanding modern buildings. Move on to the scenic and historical Lizhiwan Creek scenic spot. Stroll at the traditional Qingping Market to shop. It is specialized in agricultural and sideline products as well as Chinese herb medicines. Head for the large Huacheng Square, a renowned shopping destination as well as a scenic spot.
